About Jan Blomqvist

Jan Blomqvist, born in 1982, is a pioneering German musician, singer, producer, and live electronic performer renowned for blending organic instrumentation with techno and electro music. Beginning his musical career rooted in grunge, Blomqvist mastered guitar and drums before evolving into Berlin’s vibrant electronic scene. His distinctive style redefines live electronic music by seamlessly integrating live vocals and instruments, crafting intricate, orchestral soundscapes that transcend typical DJ sets.

A key figure in revitalizing the singer-songwriter spirit within electronic genres, Jan Blomqvist emphasizes real instruments and sophisticated harmonic structures. This innovative approach earned him international acclaim, highlighted by three performances at Coachella and regular appearances at Burning Man. Known for his dynamic stage presence, Blomqvist captivates audiences worldwide with up to 100 shows annually, balancing intimate club gigs and massive festival stages.

His music remains a masterful synthesis of human emotion and electronic precision, bridging the gap between live musicianship and dancefloor energy.
