About Ye Gods

Ye Gods is the dark electronic project helmed by Bristol-born Antoni Maiovvi, who has honed his craft over more than a decade as a producer, DJ, and film composer. After immersing himself in Europe’s vibrant experimental scenes—spending significant time in Berlin, Madrid, and Den Haag—Maiovvi eventually made New Haven, Connecticut, his creative home. Originally conceived as a one-off experiment, Ye Gods quickly blossomed into a distinctive act that melds techno, dub, drone, and abrasive noise, all steeped in occult themes.

Famed for pushing analog synthesizers, drum machines, and digital tools to their extremes, Ye Gods crafts deeply immersive soundscapes that echo the avant-garde spirit of pioneers like Coil, Nurse With Wound, Drexciya, and Biosphere. The project has toured extensively, sharing bills with artists such as Drew McDowell and joining the U.S. East Coast tour with Scottish post-rock legends Mogwai. This underground phenomenon has earned noteworthy acclaim from electronic music icons, including Aphex Twin, who has incorporated Ye Gods’ tracks into his DJ sets.

To date, Ye Gods has unveiled three full-length albums and three EPs released on influential labels like Bunker and L.I.E.S., enthralling listeners drawn to the shadowy, boundary-pushing fringes of experimental electronic music.
