About The Crystal Method

For nearly three decades, The Crystal Method has been a pioneering force in electronic music, especially within the big beat genre. Founded in Las Vegas in 1993 by Scott Kirkland and Ken Jordan, the duo quickly gained acclaim with their platinum-selling debut album, "Vegas" (1997), which helped define the sound of a generation. Their follow-up records— "Tweekend" (2001), "Legion of Boom" (2004), and "Divided by Night" (2009)—further cemented their influence, with the latter two earning Grammy nominations for Best Dance/Electronic Album.

Known for their high-energy live shows, The Crystal Method has performed over 1,300 concerts at major festivals such as EDC, Lollapalooza, and Ultra Miami. Beyond the stage, their music has reached a broad audience through more than 100 film, television, and video game soundtracks, highlighting their lasting cultural impact.

After Ken Jordan retired in 2017, Scott Kirkland continued The Crystal Method as a solo project, pushing creative boundaries while honoring the duo’s legacy. This evolution is exemplified by the release of "The Trip Out," their seventh studio album and Kirkland’s second solo effort. With a career marked by innovation and enduring appeal, The Crystal Method remains a vital and influential name in electronic dance music.
