About Chambao

Chambao, fronted by the charismatic vocalist La Mari, has been a seminal force in Spanish music for over two decades. Renowned for pioneering the "Flamenco Chill" genre, Chambao uniquely blends traditional flamenco rhythms with contemporary chill-out and electronic elements, creating a sound that resonates both in Spain and across international audiences. Their innovative fusion has earned them widespread acclaim, making them a leading reference in modern flamenco fusion.

Since their formation, Chambao has released numerous albums that showcase their evolving musical style and emotional depth. Their rich discography is complemented by a series of unforgettable live performances, solidifying their reputation as cultural ambassadors of flamenco’s contemporary evolution. Representing Sony Music Latin, Chambao’s artistic journey reflects a continuous exploration of new sonic landscapes while staying rooted in Andalusian musical traditions.

In 2023, Chambao returned with a highly anticipated new studio album that encapsulates the most poignant moments of their recent years.
