About Leihotikan

Leihotikan is a seminal punk-rock band originating from Iruñea (Pamplona) in the Basque region of Navarre, Spain. Founded in the mid-1990s, the group has sustained nearly three decades of vibrant musical activity, carving out a distinctive niche in the punk scene. Known for their high-energy performances and a sound that masterfully blends fast-paced instrumentation with melodic vocals, Leihotikan delivers lyrics that are both carefully crafted and culturally resonant.

The band's lineup features Gorka A. as the dynamic lead vocalist, whose expressive range drives their melodic approach. Supporting him are Aitor R. on bass and Patxi M. on guitar, while the drumming responsibilities are shared between Titi and Mikel G., creating a powerful and cohesive rhythmic foundation. This ensemble has cultivated an enduring presence by balancing raw punk aggression with sophisticated melodies and thoughtful lyrical content.

On November 23, Leihotikan released their seventh studio album, "Etorkizuna Ginenean" (2023), a testament to their ongoing evolution within punk rock.
