About Dollar Selmouni

Dollar Selmouni, the Mallorcan hip-hop artist, emerged on the music scene in 2017 by sharing his soulful, melodic tracks on YouTube, where his heartfelt lyrics and unique style quickly amassed millions of listeners worldwide. Initially gaining fame through melodic improvisations in rap battles, he distinguished himself with songs like "Chacho" and "Cae la noche," which showcased his warm, deep voice infused with flamenco influences. Rejecting the harsh beats and explicit language typical of traditional rap, Dollar Selmouni developed a signature style of sung rap that blends urban rhythms with emotional depth.

In 2021, he solidified his position as one of Spain’s most promising talents by releasing his self-titled second album, *Dollar Selmouni*. This landmark project featured standout tracks such as "Habana," "Los Niños quieren más," and "Maldito Dinero," further expanding his musical reach. That same year, he broadened his artistic horizon by appearing in the film *Hasta el cielo*, marking his entry into acting.

Continuing this momentum, Dollar Selmouni delivered several successful singles in 2022, including collaborations like "No Saben Como Vivo" featuring JC Reyes, "Como Antes" with Camin, and "Cuando el Sol se va" alongside Cano. He also appeared in the movie *Centauro*, directed by Daniel Carpasoro, and starred in the Netflix series *Fantástico*, under the direction of Roger Gual.
