About Josh Baker

Manchester-based producer and DJ Josh Baker has carved out a distinct space in the electronic music scene with his fluid fusion of house, techno, and electro grooves. Since launching You&Me Records in 2015 with his debut release "Scratchcard Luck," Baker has steadily expanded his creative footprint. Early EPs like *Something for the Terrace* (2017) and *Some Broken Bass* (2019) showcase his evolving sound, blending tech-house rhythms with electro influences.

Beyond production, Baker is a multifaceted figure in the industry. He founded the Hide&Seek Festival, an annual event spotlighting minimal and tech-house talent, and developed SYNTHO—an innovative online platform that grew from instructional videos into a vibrant global community connecting electronic musicians for interactive learning.

Baker’s career gained significant momentum after signing with Sony-distributed Three Six Zero Recordings in 2024. He released standout singles such as "Something to Me," which creatively interpolates SWV’s classic "Weak," and "Misleading," featuring Bianca Nieddu. Throughout 2025, his collaborative spirit shined with tracks like "Back It Up" alongside Omar+, "You Don’t Own Me" with Prospa and RAHH, and "Dr Feel Right" featuring Egyptian Lover and Rome Fortune. His *Come Closer* EP further highlighted his versatility with contributions from rising talents Sienna Sophia and Lily McKenzie.

Josh Baker continues to push boundaries, combining dynamic production with influential curation and education, cementing his reputation as a dynamic and enduring force in contemporary electronic music.
