About DePol

DePol, born Pol Gutiérrez in Barcelona in 2002, is a self-taught multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter who has quickly risen to prominence in Spain’s contemporary pop scene. Starting with guitar at age twelve, he expanded his repertoire to include ukulele, piano, and vocals, laying the foundation for his distinctive, fresh pop sound. Composing since 2018, DePol uses songwriting as a deeply personal creative outlet, a passion that has resonated widely and propelled him to national acclaim.

His breakthrough came with the hit single "Quién diría," which has amassed over 66 million streams and earned triple platinum status. Other chart-topping tracks such as "Qué bonita" (over 42 million streams, double platinum) and "Ibiza" (surpassing 38 million streams, double platinum) have cemented his place among Spain’s most successful young artists. Notably, songs like "Dime Solo Si Has Pensado" and "Te Confieso" have also enjoyed top 10 status on influential platforms like LOS40, where DePol was honored as "Best Artist Del 40 al 1."

With over 1.2 million monthly Spotify listeners, DePol’s live performances have reached major Spanish festivals including Arenal Sound, Boombastic, Big Sound, and Jardín de las Delicias, as well as iconic venues like La Riviera and Sala Apolo. Anticipation surrounds his debut album, "No lo sé ni yo," scheduled for release on October 10, 2025.
