About Blasterjaxx

Blasterjaxx is a Dutch DJ and production duo formed in 2010 by Thom Jongkind and Idir Makhlaf, who had independently crafted electronic music since 2004 before joining forces. Their meteoric rise began with the release of the 2013 single "Faith," which achieved double platinum status in South Africa and Sweden, catapulting them onto the global electronic dance music (EDM) scene. That breakthrough also secured their debut in the DJ Mag Top 100, a ranking they have consistently maintained since.

Renowned for their high-energy, electrifying performances, Blasterjaxx have headlined some of the biggest festivals worldwide, including Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, and Electric Daisy Carnival. Although Idir stepped back from extensive touring in 2015 to focus on studio production, the duo continued to evolve their sound and presence in the EDM community.

With an impressive catalog comprising over 150 original releases, 50 remixes, and numerous edits, Blasterjaxx have collaborated with some of the most influential names in electronic music, such as Armin van Buuren, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Hardwell, Timmy Trumpet, Hollywood Undead, and W&W. Their signature style blends dynamic electro house beats and progressive sounds, ensuring their sets resonate across diverse EDM audiences. Through relentless innovation and unwavering passion, Blasterjaxx remains a formidable force within electronic dance music, continuously shaping the genre’s landscape.
