About Titãs

Titãs stands as one of Brazil’s most influential and enduring rock bands, formed in São Paulo in 1982. Renowned for their ability to fuse punk rock energy with Brazilian musical roots, they have continually reinvented themselves over more than three decades. This artistic evolution has allowed them to maintain relevance and captivate audiences nationwide with dynamic live shows and an inexhaustible repertoire that spans classic hits and contemporary works.

The current lineup blends founding members Tony Bellotto (guitar), Branco Mello (vocals, bass), and Sérgio Britto (vocals, keyboards, bass) with talented newcomers Beto Lee (guitar) and Mário Fabre (drums). Together, they deliver powerful performances fueled by seasoned musicianship and fresh vitality.

One standout moment in their storied career came with the release of "Nheengatu" (2014), an album hailed by critics for its innovative reimagining of Brazilian rock and solidifying Titãs’ status as trailblazers. Their music combines compelling lyrics, inventive rhythms, and a collective spirit that transcends individual contributions, earning them multiple accolades, including Latin Grammy Awards.

Over the decades, Titãs has built a loyal and growing fanbase, remaining a cornerstone of Brazilian rock culture. Their relentless creative curiosity and commitment to musical excellence continue to influence the national music scene, proving that their legacy is anything but static.
