About The Hackles

The Hackles are a compelling folk ensemble rooted in Astoria, Oregon, a region steeped in Pacific Northwest musical tradition. Originally formed as a duo by singer-songwriters Kati Claborn and Luke Ydstie, the group gradually expanded to include multi-instrumentalist Halli Anderson and a rotating cast of talented musicians from the vibrant local scene. Since their inception, The Hackles have crafted a distinct blend of storytelling and lush harmonies that capture the misty coastal landscapes and forests of the Pacific Northwest.
