About Árbol

Árbol is a pioneering Argentine band with over two decades of experience, celebrated for their innovative fusion of grunge, cumbia, rap, and traditional Argentine folklore. This genre-blending approach has crafted a distinct sound that resonates deeply across Latin America and the United States, earning them a loyal and passionate fanbase. Árbol’s dynamic live performances are renowned for their high energy and interactive atmosphere, making every show a memorable experience where audiences become active participants.

The band’s breakthrough came through the discovery by acclaimed producer Gustavo Santaolalla, a multi-award winner including Oscars and Grammys, who signed them to his Surco label. Santaolalla produced three of Árbol’s albums, a partnership that significantly propelled their presence across Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, and the U.S. Over the years, Árbol has released five studio albums, numerous singles, and a live record, showcasing their musical evolution and versatility.

In 2022, Árbol released "Hongo," a conceptual album notable for its psychedelic and immersive soundscape. This record features collaborations with prominent artists such as Celso Piña and Quique Rangel of Café Tacvba, underscoring Árbol’s ability to connect with influential musicians across styles. They have shared stages with renowned bands like Babasónicos, Keane, Molotov, Green Day, and Café Tacvba, while performing at major festivals including Quilmes Rock, Vive Latino in Mexico, Rock al Parque in Colombia, and Monsters of Rock in Chile. Árbol’s unique blend of rhythms and powerful live shows have cemented their status as a compelling force in the Latin rock scene.
