About John 5

John 5, born John William Lowery in Michigan, is widely regarded as one of modern rock’s most versatile and accomplished guitarists. Moving to Hollywood as a teenager to pursue his rock and roll dreams, he quickly made a name for himself with his virtuosic playing and genre-defying style. John 5’s career highlights include collaborations with iconic artists such as Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, and David Lee Roth, showcasing his adaptability across metal, hard rock, and beyond.

His work with Rob Zombie stands out, particularly on the album "The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy" (2021), which marked Zombie’s first number-one debut. Beyond these collaborations, John 5 has gained recognition from guitar legends like Slash, Steve Vai, Paul Gilbert, and featured prominently in Guitar World’s 2021 cover alongside Metallica’s Kirk Hammett and Tool’s Adam Jones.

In addition to his session and touring work, John 5 pursues a successful solo career with his band John 5 and the Creatures. Their album "SINNER" highlights his signature blend of high-energy shredding paired with dark, horror-inspired themes. Moreover, John 5 is part of the supergroup L.A. Rats, alongside Nikki Sixx and Tommy Clufetos, whose debut single entered the Billboard Mainstream Rock Top 40.
