About Sokkary

Sokkary is a groundbreaking Egyptian DJ and producer hailing from Alexandria, who has been shaping the Middle Eastern electronic music scene since 2012. Inspired by leading international artists, Mohamed Sokkary developed a signature sound characterized by dark, enigmatic tones that fuse emotional depth with high-energy rhythms. His innovative style reached new heights with the launch of his Hybrid Live Act in May 2023—a pioneering performance approach that seamlessly blends traditional DJing with live music production. This project established Sokkary as one of the first artists in the MENA region to redefine electronic music shows with immersive and dynamic live elements.

Recognized by Tomorrowland’s prestigious "Future 4" program, Sokkary’s career has been propelled by support from industry giants like Joris Voorn, Fideles, and David Guetta. He has electrified audiences at iconic venues such as Het Sieraad in Amsterdam and major festivals including MDLBEAST Soundstorm and the 2022 World Cup’s Arcadia Spider Stage and Aravia. Sharing the stage with electronic music luminaries like Tale of Us, Amelie Lens, Nina Kraviz, Charlotte de Witte, Adriatique, and Mind Against, Sokkary continues to captivate a global audience. His evolving production style and live performances mark him as a vital force pushing the boundaries of electronic music, firmly placing Egyptian and Middle Eastern talent on the international map.
