About The Serfers

The Serfers are a dynamic four-piece band from Brighton, UK, known for pioneering a distinctive "saltwater punk" sound that brilliantly fuses punk rock’s raw intensity with the breezy, sun-drenched vibes of surf culture. Comprising Matt, Joe, Max, and Tom, the group channels the restless energy of their coastal surroundings into electrifying performances filled with infectious guitar riffs and driving rhythms. Their music captures the rebellious spirit and DIY ethos of punk while infusing it with the carefree essence of seaside life, creating a fresh and exhilarating sonic identity unique to the UK alternative scene.

Rooted deeply in Brighton’s vibrant music landscape, The Serfers quickly gained traction in the underground circuit, captivating audiences who crave authentic, unpolished musicianship and high-octane live shows. Their blend of raw punk power with a laid-back surf influence distinguishes them from their peers, making them a compelling presence that mirrors the city’s eclectic cultural pulse. Constantly evolving yet true to their coastal inspiration, The Serfers embody the synergy between street rebellion and the untamed spirit of the ocean, securing their place as one of Britain’s most exciting contemporary alternative bands.
