About Soaked

Soaked is a high-energy three-piece indie punk band hailing from Southend-on-Sea, formed in 2022. The group is led by the magnetic frontman Brandon Frisby, who recruited childhood friend Ronnie Cochrane on bass and discovered drummer Alex Newman via Instagram. This trio fuses raw punk vigor with anthemic indie melodies, delivering a full-throttle rock ’n’ roll sound infused with gritty urgency.

Drawing inspiration from influential acts like The Jam and Nirvana, Soaked’s music is characterized by brutally honest lyrics that address youth disillusionment, class struggles, and modern pressures such as social media and body image. Noteworthy tracks like “Talk About It,” “Art Degree,” and the anticipated “Simple Little Things” showcase their sharp social commentary backed by relentless energy.

Soaked quickly gained recognition through explosive live shows and relentless touring. They have supported prominent bands including The Libertines and joined Skegss on a UK and European tour, expanding their fanbase abroad. Rooted in a DIY ethos and a refusal to conform, Soaked channels boredom, heartbreak, and rebellion into a raw and authentic sound.

Embodying the spirit of indie punk’s unpolished passion, Soaked inspires a new generation to embrace creativity and confront societal pressures head-on, proving that authenticity and grit remain vital forces in today’s rock landscape.
