Scooter, formed in 1993 in Germany, stands as one of the most enduring and successful acts in electronic dance music. Founded by frontman H.P. Baxxter along with Rick J. Jordan and Ferris Bueller—who previously collaborated as remixers in the Loop and the synth-pop group Celebrate the Nun—the band quickly carved out a niche with their explosive fusion of rave, happy hardcore, and hard trance. Their breakthrough came with the 1994 single "Hyper Hyper," which sold over 700,000 copies in Germany and launched a multi-decade career marked by high-energy hits like "Move Your Ass!," "How Much Is the Fish?," "Ramp! (The Logical Song)," and "Nessaja."

Scooter is renowned for blending massive, chant-friendly choruses with booming beats and crowd sounds, creating anthems that have become staples in European clubs. Their sound has evolved with the shifting dance music landscape, incorporating styles such as jumpstyle, dubstep, and electro-house to stay fresh and relevant.
