About Attack Attack!

Attack Attack! is an American band from Columbus, Ohio, that emerged in 2007 and quickly became a pivotal force in the mid-2000s alternative music scene. Renowned for pioneering the electronicore genre, they expertly fused metalcore’s aggressive riffs and breakdowns with electronic dance music elements. This bold blend challenged traditional genre boundaries and captivated audiences initially within Ohio’s local scene before gaining widespread popularity among Warped Tour attendees, Hot Topic shoppers, and Myspace users worldwide.

Their innovative sound transformed conventional songwriting by integrating electronica with post-hardcore intensity, resulting in powerful anthems loved by a new generation of fans. Despite going on an indefinite hiatus in 2013, Attack Attack!’s influence on metalcore and post-hardcore has only grown, cementing their legacy as fearless experimenters in heavy music.
