About Salt Tree

Salt Tree is an Australian musical duo formed by Tom River and Nathan Parsons, emerging from the remote wilderness of Western Australia where the forest meets the sea. Rooted deeply in their shared passion for surfing and nature, the pair crafts soulful, evocative music that resonates with lovers of the outdoors and seekers of heartfelt storytelling. Since their debut in 2022, Salt Tree has self-produced three EPs that have collectively amassed over 100 million streams, capturing audiences worldwide with soaring harmonies and vibrant live performances.

Their sound weaves themes of personal growth, love, loss, and adventure into songs perfectly suited for summer road trips and campfire nights. Salt Tree’s rapid rise to prominence includes selling out their first European headline tour in November 2024, followed by supporting Jeremy Loops on his European tour in early 2025 and joining Ziggy Alberts on his Australian dates. Their touring journey began with an initial Australian tour and expanded internationally with performances at Switzerland’s Zermatt Unplugged festival and shows supporting Jon and Roy across Europe.

Looking ahead, Salt Tree is preparing for their most ambitious European headline tour yet, set for summer 2025, which will include festival appearances and performances in key cities before they return home for another round of live shows. Alongside his work with the duo, Tom River also pursues solo projects, further enriching Salt Tree’s creative landscape. With their distinctive blend of heartfelt lyrics and natural imagery, Salt Tree continues to enchant listeners, offering a refreshing musical escape that captures the spirit of both wilderness and wanderlust.
