About Comandante Twin

Comandante Twin is a vibrant indie-rock band from Madrid, featuring Edu Santos on vocals, brothers Humber and Nico Cavada on guitar and keyboards respectively, alongside Moli on bass and Raúl on drums. Since their debut with the album "1984" (produced by ALIS) in 2018, they have captivated audiences with their signature blend of emotionally charged vocals, powerful guitar riffs, and introspective lyrics. The standout single "Hay una luz" propelled them into Spain’s major festival circuits, including Cruilla, Sonorama, and Gigante, quickly establishing them as a fresh and compelling force in the indie music scene.

Their follow-up album, "Hoy" (2019), launched with a sold-out show at Madrid’s Sala Joy Eslava, showcased the band’s evolution and deepening sound. During the pandemic, they paid homage to the Sonorama Festival with the collaborative single "En Tu Ribera," featuring Varry Brava and El Langui. In 2021, Comandante Twin released "Sangrar a borbotones," which broke into the Top 30 Spanish charts, boosted by singles such as "Alerta nuclear," "Huracán," and the Arde Bogotá collaboration "La isla del deseo." The band has since performed at iconic venues like La Riviera and participated in the GPS 11 (Girando por Salas) tour, further cementing their national presence.

Recent work includes "Ser Valiente" (2022), "Tu Primera Fila" featuring Taburete, and the summer 2023 single "Hasta que vuelvas" with La Habitación Roja. Looking ahead to 2024, Comandante Twin plans to release "Aquí no sobra nadie" and a new collaboration "Sin Ti" with Paula Mattheus, continuing their dynamic trajectory in Spanish indie rock. With a distinctive sound and collaborative spirit, Comandante Twin remains a cornerstone of Spain’s contemporary indie landscape.
