About Flëur

Flëur is a pioneering musical collective hailing from Odessa, Ukraine, best known for their innovative fusion of genres that defies easy classification. Founded in 2000 by Olga Pulatova and Elena Voinarovskaya, the duo served as the creative core, writing all the lyrics, performing vocals, and composing most of the music. Over time, Flëur expanded into a larger ensemble, with additional members contributing to instrumentation and arrangements, while Pulatova and Voinarovskaya remained the sole lyricists.

Their sound is characterized by an atmospheric and haunting quality, drawing from neoclassical and ethereal influences. Early in their career, Flëur coined the term "cardiowave" to describe this unique style—a blend that later inspired the name of an independent Odessa-based record label. Despite this self-defined genre, critics typically place Flëur within the dream pop realm, where their music resonates especially with fans of experimental, poetic, and mood-driven compositions.
