About Harry Jowett

Harry Jowett is a Welsh musician whose artistic journey took a transformative turn during the 2020 lockdown. Previously engaged in diverse creative interests like drawing, skateboarding, and juggling, Harry discovered a profound passion for music while reconnecting with the piano that once belonged to his late grandmother. Without a musical family background, his self-motivated dive into jazz, funk, and soul was sparked by influential artists such as Robert Glasper, Jill Scott, and Stevie Wonder—musicians he hadn’t explored until then.

Driven by an obsessive dedication, Jowett taught himself to play four different instruments, enabling him to craft rich, personal soundscapes that perfectly complement his introspective songwriting. This level of commitment culminated in his self-produced debut EP, *Disillusioned* (2020), which garnered attention and led to collaborations with notable talents like JGrrey, Zombie Juice of Flatbush Zombies, and Douvelle19.

His most recent single, "Caught Me By Surprise," delves into the emotional vulnerability of experiencing first love, marking a shift from his solo creative process towards more collaborative efforts. With a heartfelt, authentic approach to music, Harry Jowett continues to carve out a distinctive voice in the contemporary soul and jazz scenes, steadily growing his audience while staying true to his personal artistic vision.
