About Sourflake

Sourflake is a fiery punk band rooted in Liverpool, UK, known for redefining the punk genre with their uniquely energetic and danceable sound. Emerging from one of the UK's most storied music scenes, Sourflake blends the raw, rebellious spirit typical of punk with infectious rhythms that turn traditional mosh pits into lively dance floors. Their music delivers a powerful, high-energy experience built to get audiences moving, mixing gritty punk attitude with catchy grooves that resist the genre’s usual aggression.

Distinguished by their unapologetically fun and rebellious style, Sourflake captures the vibrancy of Liverpool’s underground scene with performances and recordings that balance authentic punk grit with an irresistible urge to dance. This fresh approach has helped them carve out a distinctive niche, gaining them a dedicated following eager for music that satisfies both the need to rage and the desire for physical expression.

Through electrifying live shows and captivating tracks, Sourflake showcases how punk can evolve without losing its core authenticity. Their commitment to creating "punk to shake your ass to" proves that punk rock can be fierce, joyous, and fundamentally accessible, offering a rebellious yet celebratory alternative in the contemporary music landscape.
