Vendredi sur Mer is a Swiss indie pop singer and photographer originally from Geneva, now based in France, known for her poetic and introspective approach to music. Her distinctive sound blends alternative pop with atmospheric production, often weaving themes of doubt, vulnerability, and self-discovery into her lyrics. Vendredi sur Mer gained recognition with her evocative style, which uniquely balances emotional depth and artistic sophistication.

Her third studio album, "Malabar Princess" (2022), stands as a milestone in her artistic evolution. Inspired by the 1950 airplane crash on the Glacier des Bossons and the mountainous landscapes of her childhood, the album serves less as a recounting of tragedy and more as an emotional return to roots and personal rebirth. Featuring ten organic tracks, "Malabar Princess" was crafted in collaboration with longtime producers Sam Tiba and sutus, while notable contributions from pianist Sofiane Pamart and musician Hanni El Khatib enrich the record’s textured soundscapes.

Through "Malabar Princess," Vendredi sur Mer reveals a matured musical sensibility and an enhanced trust in her creative instincts.
