About Bilal Hassani

Bilal Hassani, born in 1999, is a French singer, songwriter, and actor who has quickly become a prominent voice for a generation embracing tolerance, self-love, and acceptance. He first gained international recognition in 2019 when he represented France at the Eurovision Song Contest with the empowering anthem "ROI." This breakthrough was followed by the release of his debut album, *Kingdom* (2019), which earned him the NRJ Music Award for Francophone Revelation of the Year and an Olympia Award celebrating the success of his first tour.

In 2020, Hassani took creative control of his career by founding his independent label, House Of Hassani, and released his sophomore album, *Contre Soirée* (2020). The album’s leading single, "Fais le Vide," won MTV France’s Music Video of the Year, showcasing his evolving artistry. Demonstrating his versatility, he competed as a finalist on *Dancing with the Stars* Season 11 (2021), impressing audiences with his stage presence and technique. The following year, Bilal released *Théorème* (2022), an album exclusively arranged by GrandMarnier of Yelle, premiering at the iconic Crazy Horse cabaret.

Expanding his creative horizons, Hassani made his acting debut in 2023 with the film *Les Reines du Drame*, alongside Asia Argento and Alma Jodorowsky. In 2024, he marked Pride Month by unveiling his first mixtape, *Glitter Sleaze Utopia*, the start of a promising series. That same year, he presented an intimate piano-voice performance titled *L’affreuse* at Radio France’s Hyper Week-end Festival, debuting eleven new tracks. Hassani is slated to return to the big screen with his second film, *Nino dans la Nuit*, directed by Laurent Micheli, further cementing his multifaceted presence in contemporary French pop culture.
