About Lucenzo

Lucenzo is a Franco-Portuguese singer and songwriter who rose to global prominence with his 2010 breakthrough single "Vem Dançar Kuduro." This track not only dominated European charts but also introduced a fresh, energetic fusion of dance and kuduro rhythms. Building on its success, Lucenzo collaborated with Puerto Rican reggaeton star Don Omar to create the Latin version, "Danza Kuduro," which became an international sensation. The song shattered records as the best-selling Latin single worldwide, with its music video becoming the most-viewed Latin video on YouTube at the time. Garnering over six million sales and more than one billion views, "Danza Kuduro" secured Lucenzo seven Billboard Awards over three years, a Grammy nomination, and a BMI Award. Its inclusion in the 2011 blockbuster *Fast & Furious 5* further cemented its status as a lasting Latin music classic.

Following this milestone, Lucenzo released his album *Emigrante Del Mundo* (2011), which featured hits like "Baila Morena." He continued to expand his global reach with the 2012 single "Wine It Up," a vibrant collaboration with dancehall icon Sean Paul. Both tracks topped European charts, affirming Lucenzo's position as a versatile artist capable of blending diverse musical styles.
