About Akimbo

Akimbo is a vibrant Dutch uptempo hardcore duo formed by producers Ravi van de Ven and Liam Klinkhamer in 2021. Quickly rising in the electronic music scene, they have carved out a distinctive sound marked by high-energy beats and innovative production techniques that resonate deeply with fans of the genre. Their debut releases immediately caught attention, opening doors to collaborations with prominent artists such as Manifest Destiny, Sparkz, Rosbeek, and Eraized. Among their standout singles, "What It Feels Like" and "I Want More," both released on Barbaric Records, showcase Akimbo’s relentless energy and dynamic approach to uptempo hardcore.

Beyond the studio, Akimbo has earned acclaim for their electrifying live performances at some of Europe's most prestigious hard dance festivals, including Harmony of Hardcore, Intents Festival, Dominator Festival, Decibel Outdoor, and Supercharged. Their growing catalog of original tracks and their reputation for delivering adrenaline-fueled sets continue to solidify Akimbo’s position as one of the most promising emerging acts in the uptempo scene. Consistently pushing boundaries, Akimbo energizes dance floors worldwide with their compelling fusion of intensity and creativity.
