About Los Tiki Phantoms

Los Tiki Phantoms are a dynamic surf-rock quartet renowned for their infectious tiki-inspired sound and iconic skeleton-themed aesthetic. Formed nearly two decades ago, the band has carved a niche by blending driving rhythms, heavily reverbed guitars, and catchy melodies into a signature surf style infused with playful, spooky elements. Their artistic journey includes extensive tours across Europe and the United States, highlighted by a memorable performance at the prominent Tiki Oasis festival in San Diego.

In 2019, Los Tiki Phantoms released the covers album "Disco Guateque," which expanded their audience and showcased their versatility within the surf and retro music scenes. Building on that momentum, their 2023 album, "Los Tiki Phantoms y el enigma del tiempo," represents their most refined and melodically balanced work to date. This 15-track collection runs just over 30 minutes, featuring fresh atmospheric touches that reveal the band’s evolving musical maturity while honoring their distinctive tiki formula.

Standout singles such as "El Vampiro Robot," notable for introducing vocals performed by a robot character, "Mar de Fuego," a vibrant anthem destined for live performances, and "Olimpiada 92," a creative skeletal reinterpretation of Barcelona’s Olympic mascot Cobi, highlight their imaginative approach. With nearly 17 years on the road, Los Tiki Phantoms continue to captivate audiences worldwide, delivering energetic surf tunes that are equal parts fun and sophisticated—solidifying their place in contemporary surf music history.
