About The Cure

Formed in Crawley, Sussex, England, in 1978, The Cure has solidified its reputation as a pioneering force in alternative rock, gothic rock, and post-punk music. Over more than four decades, the band has released 13 studio albums, including seminal works that showcase their distinctive blend of haunting melodies and introspective lyrics. Their catalog also features numerous live recordings, concert films, and over 40 singles, many of which have become cult classics and chart successes.

Renowned for their evocative sound and compelling live performances, The Cure has toured extensively, playing approximately 1,500 shows worldwide. Throughout their 42-year evolution, the band has experienced 13 different members, with the current lineup featuring Robert Smith’s unmistakable vocals and guitar, Simon Gallup on bass, Jason Cooper on drums, Roger O’Donnell on keyboards, and Reeves Gabrels on guitar. This ensemble continues to push creative boundaries while honoring their iconic legacy.
