About Nero

Nero is a British electronic music trio formed in London, consisting of Daniel Stephens, Joseph Ray, and vocalist Alana Watson. Emerging as a powerful force in the dubstep and drum and bass scenes, the group gained widespread recognition with their debut album "Welcome Reality" (2011). This landmark release featured hit singles like "Promises" and "Me and You," with "Promises" achieving chart-topping success in the UK and earning platinum certification in multiple countries. Nero’s sound is distinguished by its fusion of heavy basslines, soaring melodies, and Watson’s ethereal vocals, bridging underground electronic styles with mainstream appeal.

Their innovative approach to music production and remixing earned them a Grammy Award for Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical, for their remix of "Promises," alongside a Grammy nomination for Best Dance/Electronic Album. Beyond studio work, Nero is celebrated for their electrifying live performances, headlining major festivals such as Coachella and Ultra Music Festival. They have also pushed boundaries by incorporating elements of house, techno, and cinematic scoring into subsequent projects like "Between II Worlds" (2015).
