About The Booze Brothers

Formed in 1999 at the cusp of a new millennium, The Booze Brothers are a vibrant musical collective that uniquely blends the fervor of 1990s punk rock with the rich traditions of Irish folk music. Originating from Toulouse and the French Pyrenees, the band’s lineup unites musicians steeped in Celtic traditional sounds with punk rockers from southwestern France. This unlikely fusion gave birth to their signature style—a dynamic, high-energy sound that features the raw edge of punk alongside spirited Celtic melodies and instruments like fiddles and tin whistles.

The Booze Brothers’ music channels the rebellious spirit of punk while deeply honoring cultural storytelling rooted in Irish and regional French heritage. Their eclectic background allows them to bridge various musical worlds, appealing to fans across the Celtic punk spectrum and beyond. Celebrated for their electrifying live performances and genre-defying artistry, the band has carved out a unique niche that is both universal and unapologetically original.

Over the years, The Booze Brothers have maintained a loyal following through their spirited anthems that resonate across borders. By pushing sonic boundaries without losing sight of their musical roots, they stand as a lasting force within the folk-punk scene, continually energizing audiences with their signature sound.
