About Felix Räuber

Felix Räuber is a German singer, composer, and producer renowned as the lead vocalist of the electro-pop band Polarkreis 18, which rose to international fame with their hit "Allein, Allein." His signature style, often described as "Cinematic Pop," masterfully blends pop, neoclassical, and electronic elements. This innovative sound places Räuber alongside contemporary artists such as Nils Frahm, Moderat, and Radiohead, while distinctly marking his own artistic identity.

Over the years, Räuber has showcased his versatility through collaborations with acclaimed musicians like violinist Daniel Hope and singer-songwriter Scott Matthew. These partnerships have led to a string of critically praised EPs, including "WALL" (2017), "ME" (2019), "AUTSIDER" (2020), "SYMPHONIC EP" (2021), "CHANGE" (2021), and "THE OTHER SIDE OF SEA" (2022). His track "Après Minuit," featuring Schlindwein, gained broader recognition after appearing in the finale of *How To Get Away with Murder* and the eighteenth season of *Grey’s Anatomy*.

More recently, Räuber embraced a haunting collaboration with neoclassical pianist Martin Herzberg. Their single "Woodlands," inspired by a poignant encounter with a woman in Kiev amid the 2022 Ukraine conflict, melds Herzberg’s ethereal piano with Räuber’s evocative vocals and sound design. This partnership culminated in an EP released in September 2022, with a full-length album following in April 2023, underscoring Räuber’s continual evolution as a cinematic storyteller and innovator in contemporary music.
