About Imagine Dragons

Imagine Dragons, a dynamic Las Vegas-based band, rose from the Nevada desert in the late 2000s, effortlessly blending arena rock energy with catchy pop hooks. The group’s origins trace back to Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where vocalist Dan Reynolds met drummer Andrew Tolman. By 2009, alongside guitarist Daniel Wayne Sermon and bassist Ben McKee, they relocated to Reynolds’ hometown to cultivate their sound and record early EPs at the Killers’ Battle Born Studios. Their growing regional momentum led to a deal with Interscope Records.

The band’s major breakthrough came with the 2012 debut album "Night Visions," which soared to number two on the Billboard 200 and featured the Grammy-winning, diamond-certified hit "Radioactive"—America’s biggest digital rock track. Following releases like 2015’s chart-topping "Smoke + Mirrors" and 2017’s Grammy-nominated "Evolve" solidified their place with anthems such as "Believer," "Thunder," and "Whatever It Takes," all achieving multi-platinum status.

Continuing to evolve, Imagine Dragons collaborated with legendary producer Rick Rubin on "Mercury: Act 1" (2021) and "Mercury: Act 2" (2022), exploring themes of mental health and personal resilience. Their seventh studio album, "Loom" (2024), marked a fresh move toward pop-funk influences while retaining their signature stadium-ready sound. With a global fanbase and consistent reinvention, Imagine Dragons remain a formidable force in modern rock and pop music.
