About El Buen Hijo

El Buen Hijo is a vibrant pop band that emerged from Madrid’s bustling music scene in 2016. The group consists of Marco Frías (guitar and vocals), Alicia Ros (bass and vocals), Daniel Rodríguez (guitar), Miquel Cañellas (keyboards), and David Chamizo (drums). Known for their melodic sensibility and heartfelt lyrics, El Buen Hijo has crafted a distinctive sound that blends energetic instrumentation with rich vocal harmonies. Their collaborative songwriting process, featuring multiple vocal contributors, creates layered, textured compositions that push beyond typical guitar-driven pop.

Since their formation, El Buen Hijo has steadily built a reputation across Spain’s indie and alternative circuits. The band’s dynamic live performances and intelligent pop songwriting have earned them critical acclaim as well as a devoted fanbase. They are celebrated for marrying accessible melodies with atmospheric keyboard work and rhythmic drive, offering a fresh contribution to contemporary Spanish pop culture. As a band rooted in Madrid’s vibrant artistic landscape, El Buen Hijo continues to evolve their sound while staying true to the emotional core that first captured listeners’ attention.
