About Sugarland

Sugarland is a platinum-selling country duo hailing from Georgia, composed of singer-songwriter Jennifer Nettles and multi-instrumentalist Kristian Bush. Originally formed in 2002 as a trio with songwriter Kristen Hall, the Atlanta-based group quickly made waves by blending traditional country with rock and pop elements. Their debut album, "Twice the Speed of Life" (2004), produced by Garth Fundis, launched them into the spotlight, showcasing a fresh, crossover-friendly sound.

After Hall’s departure in 2005, Nettles and Bush continued as a duo, refining their style and broadening their appeal. Their follow-up album, "Enjoy the Ride" (2006), solidified their presence in country music, while "Love on the Inside" (2008) marked a commercial breakthrough. This album produced chart-topping singles like "All I Want to Do," "Already Gone," and "It Happens," earning the duo multiple Grammy Awards and platinum certifications.

In 2010, Sugarland released "The Incredible Machine," a steampunk-inspired album that debuted at number one on U.S. and U.K. country charts. The record featured the Top 20 pop hit "Stuck Like Glue," further proving their ability to cross genre boundaries. After a hiatus starting in 2012—during which both Nettles and Bush pursued successful solo projects—they reunited in 2017. Signed to Big Machine Records, Sugarland released "Bigger" (2018), highlighted by the notable collaboration "Babe" with Taylor Swift, which reached number two on the country charts.

Renowned for their dynamic performances and genre-defying sound, Sugarland remains a significant and enduring force in contemporary country music.
