About In This Moment

Formed in 2005 in Los Angeles, In This Moment has established itself as a powerhouse in the alternative and gothic metal scenes. Led by the magnetic frontwoman Maria Brink and co-founder, lead guitarist Chris Howorth, the band also features bassist Travis Johnson, guitarist Randy Weitzel, and drummer Kent Diimmel. Their signature blend of heavy riffs, theatrical live performances, and raw emotion has cultivated a fiercely loyal fanbase and propelled them to over 1.3 billion cumulative streams worldwide.

In This Moment’s breakthrough came with their gold-certified album *Blood* (2012), which produced six gold and platinum singles, solidifying their commercial impact. Following this success, albums like *Black Widow* (2014) and *Ritual* (2017) marked significant artistic growth; both debuted in the Top 25 on the Billboard 200, with *Ritual* gaining critical acclaim and surpassing 250 million streams thanks to its darker, blues-infused sound. Their seventh studio album, *Mother* (2020), continued this evolution, highlighted by the Grammy®-nominated single "The In-Between," which further showcased their innovative approach to metal.

In This Moment commemorated *Blood* with the 2022 revisit *Blood 1983* EP and broadened their reach by contributing "I Would Die For You" to the *John Wick: Chapter 4* soundtrack. Their eighth album, *GODMODE* (2023), released in October, reinforces their reputation as gothic metal innovators, promising fresh creative chapters ahead. Through relentless reinvention and a compelling stage presence, In This Moment remains a defining force in modern metal.
