About Paco Osuna

Barcelona-born Paco Osuna is a celebrated DJ and producer who has firmly established himself as a pioneering figure in minimal techno and tech-house. Launching his career in Valencia in 1994, Osuna initially experimented with makina and progressive house under various aliases. His artistic direction shifted dramatically in 1999 when Martin Ferrer invited him to join the resident DJ team at Ibiza’s legendary Amnesia club. This experience proved transformative, refining his mixing style and expanding his presence in the electronic music scene.

Osuna’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to found Shake Records in 2002, which evolved into Mindshake Records by 2005, debuting with his single "Mindacid." His international breakthrough came through Richie Hawtin’s Plus 8 label with the *Crazy* EP (2007), followed by acclaimed releases like "Orbeat" (2008) and "Lemon Juice" (2009). Osuna’s creative prowess culminated in his full-length debut album *Long Play* (2014) on Hawtin’s Minus imprint, cementing his status among techno elites.

Known for his vibrant sound that blends dancefloor energy with intricate sonic details, Osuna has collaborated with artists such as Joseph Capriati, Alexi Delano, and Uner. He has maintained residencies in Ibiza and Miami, curated Club4 in Barcelona since 2006, and leads Mindshake showcases at major events including Miami Music Week and Amsterdam Dance Event. Recent works like the *Brain Bells* EP (2020) and the *Groove Bass* collaboration with DJ Oliver (2022) highlight his enduring influence and innovation within electronic music.
