About Tristan Da Cunha

Tristan Da Cunha is a renowned DJ and curator celebrated for his encyclopedic knowledge of underground music, blending eclectic genres to create vibrant, unforgettable dance floor experiences. With a career spanning nearly two decades, he first rose to prominence during a remarkable 16-year residency at Leeds’ legendary BacktoBasics club. Known for his improvisational style, Tristan masterfully weaves forgotten classics with forward-thinking sounds, consistently delivering sets that free minds, move bodies, and uplift spirits.

Expanding his influence beyond Leeds, Tristan holds an honorary residency at Glastonbury Festival’s iconic Block9 NYC Downlow—affectionately described as a "strobelit utopia" and one of his favorite creative homes. His energetic performances have energized rave venues worldwide, both as a solo artist and as part of the dynamic Dungeon Meat project alongside Brawther. Tristan Da Cunha’s studio work further cements his reputation, with selective productions and remixes topping charts and emphasizing quality over quantity.

With an infectious passion for the underground and a commitment to sonic innovation, Tristan Da Cunha remains a pivotal figure in the UK club scene. Now embarking on a new chapter at The Church in Leeds, he continues to shape the future of dance music, proving his legacy as a true sonic architect whose influence resonates globally.
