About Oneohtrix Point Never

Daniel Lopatin, known professionally as Oneohtrix Point Never, is a pioneering American musician, composer, and producer rooted in Boston's rich music scene. Renowned for his experimental electronic compositions and immersive ambient soundscapes, Lopatin has built a versatile and acclaimed career marked by innovation across music and multimedia. His tenth studio album, *Again* (2023), is widely recognized as his most ambitious work, blending expansive sonic exploration with intricate production.

Beyond his solo projects, Oneohtrix Point Never has significantly influenced contemporary pop and film music. He served as Executive Producer and featured performer on The Weeknd’s chart-topping album *Dawn FM* (2022) and acted as Musical Director for the artist’s memorable 2021 Super Bowl halftime show. His evocative film scores include the Safdie brothers’ *Good Time* (2017), which won Best Soundtrack at Cannes, and *Uncut Gems* (2019), both critically celebrated for their innovative sound design.

Lopatin’s collaborative spirit extends to working with a diverse range of artists such as James Blake, Charli XCX, Iggy Pop, Rosalía, Anohni, FKA Twigs, David Byrne, and Nine Inch Nails. His creative reach also spans high-profile fashion projects, including composing for Chanel’s Métiers d’art show.
