About Fixations

Fixations is an independent rock band that emerged in 2022 from the vibrant creative scene near New York City’s Gowanus Canal. Known for blending the raw energy of classic rock with the rebellious edge of modern punk, Fixations crafts a sound that is both gritty and authentic. Their music channels decades of New York’s storied punk ethos while infusing anthemic elements from rock’s golden era, resulting in a fresh yet familiar style that resonates deeply with rock aficionados.

Since their formation, Fixations has steadily built a diverse catalog of tracks, releasing new music primarily through Bandcamp. Their work reflects a sincere commitment to revitalizing rock ’n’ roll with honesty and passion. The band’s evolving sound maintains a careful balance between reverence for rock traditions and a fearless drive to push boundaries, making them a compelling force in today’s independent music scene.

Fixations has quickly gained recognition for their unfiltered expression and infectious energy, carving out their own distinctive place amid New York’s rich musical landscape. As they continue to develop their style and expand their audience, Fixations stands as a testament to the enduring spirit and ever-evolving nature of rock music.
