Nubya Garcia, a London-born saxophonist, composer, and bandleader, has emerged as a defining voice in contemporary British jazz. Raised in Camden and shaped by mentorship from pianist Nikki Yeoh, Garcia developed a rich musical foundation that seamlessly blends jazz with classical, dub, broken beat, and R&B influences. Her breakout album, "Source" (2020), established her as a creative force, while her sophomore release, "Odyssey" (2024), deepens this exploration with orchestral arrangements and celestial soundscapes that maintain a compelling groove.

A Trinity Laban Conservatoire alumna with Guyanese and Trinidadian heritage, Garcia’s music defies conventional genre boundaries, emphasizing artistic freedom and innovation. Her live performances have captivated audiences worldwide—from sold-out US tours supporting Khruangbin at iconic venues like Radio City Music Hall and the Ryman Auditorium to headline shows and major festival appearances including Glastonbury, Love Supreme, Pickathon, and Newport Jazz.
