About Groundation

Groundation is a pioneering American reggae band formed in 1998 in Sonoma County, California, by vocalist and guitarist Harrison Stafford. Renowned for its innovative fusion of traditional roots reggae with jazz, dub, and jazz fusion elements, Groundation crafts a rich sound marked by soulful vocals and intricate horn arrangements. Their debut album, "Young Tree" (1999), laid the foundation for their presence in the reggae world, followed by critically acclaimed works such as "Hebron Gate" (2001) and "Each One Teach One" (2005).
