About Montenegro

Montenegro, a singer-songwriter from Foz do Iguaçu, Paraná, has carved a distinct place in Brazil’s music landscape over nearly two decades. Known for his heartfelt lyrics and melodic versatility, he gained significant traction with the release of his debut DVD recorded in Goiânia (2018). This milestone paved the way for his ambitious project, "Barzim do Montenegro" (2018), a self-produced album featuring fourteen original tracks, a medley, and collaborations with some of Brazil’s most notable artists. The album continues to captivate listeners on streaming platforms, reinforcing his growing influence.

In 2020, Montenegro collaborated with producer Blener Maycom on a romantic project highlighted by the single "Um Dia De Você e Eu." The track, featuring Jorge from the acclaimed duo Jorge e Mateus and former Big Brother Brasil contestant Hariany, amassed over eighteen million streams, solidifying Montenegro’s appeal across diverse audiences. Demonstrating his creative range, he later released the lively project "No Boom do Batidão," co-produced with Dackson Cabral. The lead single, "Não é Namoro," reveals a more energetic and playful facet of his artistry, broadening his presence within Brazil’s vibrant music scene. Through these projects, Montenegro continues to evolve, blending emotional depth with infectious rhythms that resonate nationwide.
