Story of the Year, a post-hardcore band from St. Louis, Missouri, rose from humble beginnings as teenage pizza chain employees to become influential figures in alternative rock. The lineup—Dan Marsala (vocals), Ryan Phillips (guitar), Josh Wills (drums), and Adam Russell (bass)—crafted a signature sound defined by powerful guitars, anthemic singalong choruses, and emotionally charged lyrics centered on resilience and perseverance.

Their breakthrough came with the 2003 debut album "Page Avenue," which sold over a million copies and featured the enduring anthem "Until the Day I Die." This track exemplifies the band’s philosophy of hope and determination, resonating deeply with fans worldwide. Over the next two decades, Story of the Year continued to evolve, releasing critically acknowledged albums such as "In the Wake of Determination" (2005), "The Black Swan" (2008), "The Constant" (2010), "Wolves" (2017), and the latest, "Tear Me to Pieces" (2022).
