About Serenda

Serenda is a London-based DJ and producer of Guyanese and Greek descent, renowned for her vibrant fusion of house, techno, and Afro-South American sounds. Rooted deeply in her cultural heritage, she channels the rich musical traditions of the African and Caribbean Diaspora, blending them seamlessly with the pulsating energy of percussive house and raw, sensual club rhythms. Her artistic vision was further shaped by immersion in New York’s underground queer scene, where experimental textures and unfiltered self-expression became central to her evolving sound.

Serenda’s sets are celebrated for their immersive quality—combining organic rhythms and driving grooves that keep the dancefloor engaged while allowing moments of catharsis and spontaneous release. Her approach is inspired by the legendary David Mancuso’s ethos of "timeless mindless states," aiming to create ritualistic, transformative experiences that celebrate eccentricity and authenticity. She draws creatively from concepts like quantum physics and world-building, crafting sonic landscapes that invite listeners toward self-discovery and open-minded exploration.

Infused with a fierce punk spirit and soulful intensity, Serenda is a rising force in electronic music, challenging boundaries and reshaping the club experience. Through her innovative productions, dynamic DJ sets, and compelling visual style, she continues to carve out a unique space—one where identity, community, and sound converge in a powerful celebration of creativity.
