About Tirzah

Tirzah, a South East London-based singer and songwriter, has emerged as a unique voice in contemporary experimental pop since her debut in 2013. Known for her minimalist production and deeply intimate sound, she crafts music that blends raw, soulful vocals with sparse, emotive arrangements. Early in her career, Tirzah collaborated closely with longtime friend and producer Mica Levi, releasing a series of critically acclaimed EPs through Greco-Roman Records. This partnership laid the foundation for her subsequent work with Domino Records, where she has released two full-length albums that further showcase her understated yet powerful style.

Beyond her solo projects, Tirzah has built a reputation for compelling collaborations. She has worked with a diverse roster of artists, including Speakers Corner Quartet, Lafawndah, Mura Masa, Kwes, and Sampha, contributing her distinctive vocal texture to their innovative sounds. Additionally, as one half of the duo Taz & Meeks, she gained cult status with the track "Obviously," featured on Mount Kimbie’s revered DJ-Kicks compilation.

Renowned for emotionally resonant songwriting and stripped-back aesthetics, Tirzah continues to push creative boundaries. Her understated yet captivating performances and collaborations have solidified her as one of the most inventive artists in the modern underground music scene, ensuring she remains a compelling figure for years to come.
