About A.M. Slingers

Chicago-based quartet A.M. Slingers emerged with a powerful debut LP that fuses the raw energy of classic power pop with the gritty edge of garage rock. Anchored by Rich Forsythe and Andy Rader sharing lead vocals and guitars, alongside Brad Menna on bass and Glenn Rischke on drums, the band delivers a sound built on intertwining electric guitars, driving rhythms, and punchy, economical lyrics. Recorded with renowned engineer Greg Norman at Electrical Audio, their album captures a spirit of restless resilience and late-night fervor.

Standout tracks like the anthemic "Second Guessing" showcase catchy, power pop melodies, while "Idiot" unpacks frustration with a snarling, defiant attitude. The song "Rock ‘n’ Roll Heart" channels the fierce, raw intensity reminiscent of early Replacements, offering a teeth-clenched manifesto on authenticity and survival. Closing the record, "Pink Dress" pairs ringing guitars with earnest lyricism, exploring love’s complexities with unfiltered emotion.

A.M. Slingers have crafted a timeless rock sound that balances grit and hope. Their tightly woven debut hints at a promising future, firmly establishing them as a compelling voice in contemporary rock. Through a blend of melodic punch and emotional grit, A.M. Slingers invite listeners into a world where even the hardest nights carry the promise of something better.
