About It It Anita

Belgian noise rock trio It It Anita has earned a fierce reputation for their electrifying live performances and boundary-pushing sound. Emerging from a prior lineup as a quartet, the band embraced a leaner, more focused identity, allowing them to channel raw energy into finely tuned, dynamic compositions. Their fourth album, *Mouche* (2023), marks a creative evolution, showcasing a deliberate shift towards structured songwriting. Incorporating verse-chorus arrangements alongside a compelling balance of melodic lightness and visceral aggression, the record highlights storytelling through inventive, rhythmic phrasing reminiscent of the Beastie Boys.

Recorded and mixed by Amaury Sauvé—renowned for his work with Birds in Row and Bison Bisou—*Mouche* was released via Vicious Circle Records and Luik Music, labels known for championing trailblazing artists such as SLIFT and The Psychotic Monks. This album cements It It Anita’s place at the forefront of Belgium’s experimental rock scene, delivering an unapologetically raw yet precise sonic experience. With each release, It It Anita continues to defy expectations, fusing chaotic intensity with calculated artistry to create music that resonates both emotionally and intellectually, making them a pivotal force in contemporary noise rock.
