About Groove Armada

Groove Armada, the influential British electronic duo composed of Andy Cato and Tom Findlay, has been shaping the dance music landscape since the mid-1990s. Originating from London, they first united to host underground club nights, quickly gaining momentum by releasing vinyl singles on the pioneering East London label Tummy Touch. Their debut album, "Northern Star" (1998), created in just one week, introduced the iconic downbeat track "At the River," which became a signature anthem that defined their early sound.

Their rise to international fame accelerated with "Vertigo" (1999), their first major-label release through Jive Records, which sold over a million copies worldwide. Over the following years, Groove Armada expanded their repertoire with four more albums under major labels like Sony and BMG. These releases earned them critical acclaim and nominations for prestigious awards including the Grammys and BRIT Awards.

Known for their seamless fusion of genres such as house, trip-hop, and big beat, Groove Armada’s electrifying live performances have captivated audiences across the globe—from intimate clubs to festival stages in cities like Sydney and Moscow.
