About VV Pete

VV Pete, a Sudanese-Australian rapper and singer based in Sydney, has swiftly risen as a defining voice in Australia’s contemporary rap scene. Emerging with a fresh sound that fuses sharp hooks, electrifying club beats, and global dance influences, she draws comparisons to icons like Missy Elliott, Ice Spice, and Lizzo. VV Pete first captured international attention with her 2022 debut single, "BUSSIT," which earned significant airplay on New York’s legendary Hot 97 radio, solidifying her global reach early in her career.

Her growing catalog features standout tracks such as "JORDAN1s," "BACARDI PAPI," and "FRAUDS," the latter of which received renewed acclaim through the 2023 remix EP *FRAUDS (REWORKED)*. This project showcased collaborations with prominent electronic and club music producers including DJ Plead, Mall Grab, Brazil’s Clementaum, and France’s Brodinski. Her partnership with Berlin-based Logic1000 on the track "HEARTBEAT" further highlights her versatility within the electronic music sphere. Tracks from her repertoire have been featured in Boiler Room sets worldwide, amplifying her presence on the global stage.

VV Pete’s dynamic performances have earned her multiple Sydney Music Arts and Culture Awards, including "Song of the Year" twice, "Best Live Act," and "Next Big Thing." From headlining the Sydney Opera House and major festivals like Promiseland and Beyond the Valley to touring Europe on her debut *Euro Varvie* tour, she has shared the stage with acts such as Denzel Curry and garnered recognition from industry heavyweights like SZA. With an anticipated debut mixtape and ongoing international tours, VV Pete is rapidly advancing as one of Australia’s most exciting breakout artists, blending rap and club culture into a boundary-pushing sound poised for lasting impact.
